Helping Hands

Helping hands is a easy tool to use with children, young people and adults. It can be utilised for many different situations. 

Ways to use: 

Ask the person to draw around their hand and then on each finger, write down someone who can help them in a particular scenario. It can additionally provide good insight into who the person sees as safe and helpful people. 

Situations where it could be used: 

- When feeling worried about something, who can you tell

- Who can be involved in your safety plan

- If feeling anxious, who can you contact

- If concerned about substance misuse relapse, who will you contact
